Fagin [otherwise known as my brother, Robert]
have a lot of thank yous to go around....

after several weeks of ICU, room confinement, more ICU, and then physical therapy rehab...the news is that he is

GOING HOME TOMORROW....

and I could not wait to thank all of you for the good wishes, prayers, e-mails, and thoughts you have given...

The doctors said only weeks ago, "we may need to pull the plug..."

His daughter and sons were there, day and night...

all I could do was sit beside the phone and computer...for the computer was our lifeline...if I saw my brother pop up on IM, I knew we had one more day...

All of you have been praying for miracles...

we saw Michael through nine months of living...and he made it through the holidays and ended the year as I think he wished...

we are seeing our Rebecca through...

and although my brother is fairly new to the forums, you all came and wished him well...and that makes you more than friends, and sometimes even more than family....

I thank God each day he allows me to come here...

and I know my brother thanks you, too....

He goes home tomorrow...back to his daughter and his sons...and his granddaughter, Sarah....

Wednesdays...Hump Days...well, welcome the HUMP of getting one over old Scratch!

Thank you, Ken...it is indeed a great start to a New Year...and gives me reason to soon come back out to California for another visit with him and his family....soon!

WOW! double holiday hugs to you, Robert and his family, for hanging in there all those long days and nights.

And you? Karilea, you have kept the sun shining throughout the whole ordeal, offering great warmth to everyone else who had some need for comfort, saving just enough, I think, for yourself.

Brothers....many times in my life I've prayed for a brother, to have one or to save someone else's...and some have been saved though no brother ever came for me.... I've never prayed to be one, but I've been blessed by having the unsaid prayer answered.
