the poem is The Proposal, and it will be in the Chicken Soup For The Bride book due out in March 2004.  I wrote it after Rodger proposed to me

Just one small addition to this posting, there is a slight chance my poem won't make the final cut, although they've already sent me a publishing agreement that needs to be signed and returned.

Congratulations!!! I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that it makes it into the book. Even if it doesn't they thought enough of it to OFFER to publish it!! That's pretty darn good too!

Congrats, Ruth!! I also have the publishing agreement for a poem going in the Chicken Soup for the Caregiver's Soul....here's hoping we both get there!
