Bob Hope, that funny, ski-nosed master of the one-liners and favourite comedian of servicemen the world over, as well as many presidents alike, has died, less than two months after turning 100.

Ward Grant, (Hope's Publicist) announced that Bob Hope died late Sunday of pneumonia. Hope's family was at his bedside at his home in Toluca Lake.

It seemed like he'd just go on forever! It's hard to believe all that wonderful wit is silenced.

I liked his acts since i was a kid, but once I did come across an African-American who thought this great English-American comedian was a racialist. (?)
