What if you could only post one poem a week here? Which of your last 10 poems would be the one you would most want to post and why did you choose that one?

*laughs at Mikey*

As my muse tends to disrupt my flow of poetry and prose, this isn't much of a problem for me, but I don't think it would be too hard to choose one and be satisfied with that choice. Because, a week later, I'd chose again.

I don't mean that there would be a restriction on this site...just a general question.

Ahh... forgive me and my non-caffeinated haze.

It would definitely change the language and intent of my poetry. Right now, my words are of the "now." But, if I cached these things like a squirrel and scattered only one acorn a week, in hopes of growing an oak, my words would change from present to past instances and feel strangely stale to me. Sort of like "I had this thought on Monday, so why am I sharing it on Friday?"

Well it takes me any where up to a month to finish a poem, so if I was limited to one poem a week it wouldn't bother me. If I could write a poem, a good poem, a week I would be a very happy man.

As the other questions?

Leaves or the untitled poem (currently posted in CA)

I liked Leaves a lot because I avoided writing about certain emotions I didn't want voiced in poetry and feel taht writing the
poem allowed me some closure.

I'm only choking out about one a week anyway. I kind of liked one that slipped by last week, "Models Demise"

Well...I haven't actually posted a piece in here since November so the once a week wouldn't bother me.

Nice try though, Sharon.

um.... in answer to your question... IF, and it's a very large IF I managed to choke out more than one poem a week, it'd probably be the ones that I write when I'm mad at someone.
