I'm curious how most of you hook up for duets. Are you old poetry friends? Do you put an ad in the personals? Well, I'm joking, but I've been interested in duets. Well I picked my last partner up at the market for only $1.25. Quite a bargain considering his talent.  Just ask around and see if anyone wants to do one. You'll find that a lot of people will be willing to put their hand up for it.  Consider yourself added to the hitlist. |

Find a poet [usually by the responses on your poetry and then veer towards the one whose writing you admire] and contact them if they are available by e-mail or MSN - or leave a note on one of their poems, that you would be interested in dueting with them. Chances are, you'll cause a smile! Then see what develops. Sometimes, it's a good idea...and other times, it's a treat for the rest of us! |

Usually I post a thread in the challenge forum and offer $1o for anyone who duet's with me, to everyone who has done a duet with me in the past i swear the money is in the post, honestly... lol I used to make phantoms I could later chase images of all that could be desired then I got tired of counting all of these blessings"h.devoto magazine |

Serenity, I'm hanging a sold sign on you right now. It looks very nice as well - all pretty with shades of black and red. Ignore the strands of hair that's on it. Those real estate agents are very territorial about their sold signs.  So pick a date, a time, a shade of green and I'm there. Consider yourself added to the hitlist. |

k...um, I tend to write spontaneously...you have a chat program? let me know...I find the best duets happen in the midst of a conversation? So...you may have to put up with my nonsense for a bit. I don't think I've ever successfully done it (duet) via e mail... I like to flow with the emotion of the moment...so? grin..I volley the ball back to ya, lady. Let me know. |

I would love to do a duet with someone but I procrastinate..lol..so many unfinished poems...lol my muse is being stubborn but I have a wish list of ppl I would love to do a poem with..or even talk to them on msn..I promise I don't stalk  If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried. |

I'm looking to do a duet with someone in the near future, I've done a couple and know the problems i.e. procrastination, clash of ideas, clash of styles etc.. I am also looking for someone to teach me meter... I've been reading up on it for a while now and none of it is really sinking in so I'd like to learn that and maybe do a villanelle with someone |
