If you and one other person somehow were in a yellow submarine very many leagues below the surface of the ocean with vital information attained from the bottomost never-penetrated quarters of the sea that with its importance would change the face of the earth forever  and make you famous, and suddenly found out that the oxgyen you had been sharing if continued to be shared would take the lives of both of you for that there is only enough that could take one of you to the surface, and no one can rescue you at all from above, would you:  yeild the oxygen to your companion, let him yeild it to you or continue sharing it?

Gee whiz...
*thinks*
Golly gee whillikers...

I don't know. I like to think I would give up the oxygen, but I don't know, because I've never been in that position before. Interesting question.

LOL! I know for sure we wouldn't share.

If you think about it though, the person who lived would be hated worldwide, depending on how the media decided to portray the dead person. What if the media decided it would be a better story if they said that you bonked the other person over the head, and took their air? You'd be screwed... Just a thought.

Well what if I DID bonk the person over the head and took their air? *grins* Before I read your post, Kielo, I was thinking, "I'd bonk them over the head and take the air... but that probably wouldn't be politically correct for me to say that"

*shrug* But everyone would hate you. You wouldn't tell them, but they would see the body. They would know.

that deep, they'd never find the body...
funny, mostly I'd like to think I'd give it to the other person...but then survival insticts would kick in, and well....but seriously, I wouldn't have gotten in that sub without knowing a kabillion percent, that there would be enough air for us both!

But you couldn't get rid of the body. Underwater, that deep, under that much pressure, if you opened the sub both people would die. No question. If the window cracked, the pressure of the water coming in would be enough to cut a person in half. Of course, that depends how deep you are, but people cannot be taken out of subs. Ask my dad. He runs a company that makes them.

According to statistics, a man eats a prune every twenty seconds. I don't know who this fellw is, but I know where to find him.

They'd never find the body if you cut up into little pieces. Blood is actually quite a beautiful thing and I'm sure the sharks agree. Take the oxygen and leave him there.

Consider yourself added to the hitlist.

LOL @ AF... brilliant
In all reality, I wouldn't have gotten into the sub in the first place. If there's one thing that I'm more scared of than cows, it's subs. I just don't do the whole silence/deep water/lots of pressure thing
