Ok so if you could invite 4 or 5 people from any time in history round to your house for a dinner party who would you have and why would you pick them? so here are mine although they are a very odd mix! 1)OK so my first choice will have to be...Jesus, bet you could really have an interesting conversation! 2)Got to be Shakspeare himself, would like him to know how much influnce he has had and how that his works are still studied in schools all over the world 3)Salvador Dali, now I bet he would make a dinner party very interesting! My room is also covered in Dali prints, I love his paintings so so much 4)Another artist for my fourth choice, Vincent Van Gough, would just like him to know how poplular and influential his paintings have become, 5)Ok my fifth choice is going to seem really really dumb but I don't care because he is the musician I enjoy listening to the most and I don't care he is not a figure of world history like my other choices, he would just be there to sing to me, lead singer of Counting Crows Adam Duritz, I love his voice, I love his songs Anyway what people would you pick???? I'm afraid my answer has more to do with the topic line...as "ideal guests" is my defense of chatting with my forum friends to the now "hubby". I told him... "Look...they are quiet. They are not drinking all of our beer. And? When I'm tired? I don't have to make them go home, because they are already THERE." |

damn it, Ser!!! You mean we weren't supposed to be making any noise? WHAT? and we weren't supposed to come out from under the couch to get the beer out of the refrigerator? Did we scare him? Hmm..well..maybe if we close our eyes he won't be able to see us. "two hearts will build the foundation for one point of light |

Hm........ I'm at loggerheads here (can you believe someone/anyone uses that expression?). I remember reading once that Einsteen and Picasso met each other briefly. What wonderful things did they talk about? Their teeth. They were both old guys -- and human. I don't think I'd force anyone out of the ground to suit my own curiosity -- especially when you'd be so disappointed to learn that Leonardo da Vinci picks his nose or something, y'know? The reason they're heros/inspirations is because they seem more than human to us, when really, they're equally as. So let's invite some PIP people instead! Hmm... Anvrill, of course. My girlfriend, whom I don't get to see nearly enough since we're l-d right now. Poet de Vine. I always enjoy her conversation -- she has a lot of good insights, and writes awesome tales, too. Can there only be five? Okay, Lori will kill me if I invite only women ........ so let's call Serenity and Janet Marie the same person for now, and then throw in wranx and brian sites. Wah, five isn't enough! Mikey |

Sharon, there is going to be a major food fight at your party. ok my choices, Nick Cave (he can play music while we eat), Satan (would like to hear his side of the story) Dylan Thomas (one of the great poets) De Vici (so I can bask in genius) Ian Curtis of Joy Division Battle not with monsters lest ye become a monster, and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you. - Friedrich W. I'm sure the conversation would be so stimulating that no one would consider tossing their food around. Do you think Pizza would be a good meal to serve? |
