love sucks

Well, I got my results from last semester at university. I passed all my classes, and even managed a distinction in my favourite class, which I'm pretty proud of. My five month old nephew has cleft palate, and I wrote a report on the level of services and support available in our area, and that was the clincher, I believe. So I'm pretty stoked about that.

The biggest thing going on in my life right now is how long I will have my life.
My main tumor is gone, but some cells have either lagged behind and are still there...or, they have grown back...Its impossible to tell which...

I keep getting roller coaster types of news about my health...one day everything looks okay and the next, it looks like I might now be here next year at this time...

So...I guess that the biggest thing in my life right now is fear of not having one anymore.......and I don't mean 40 or 50 yrs from now...I think we are down to the nitty gritty and may be talking months not years...but somehow, I just don't feel that sick and I am certainly not ready to go.  I feel like its not my time yet...
Its my time to stay here and post poetry...

All in all, I would say that this is a pretty significant thing which is going on right now...

Um... My life's pretty depressing right now. *weak smile*

My poor baby Fidgey (my ferret) is sick. She's five years old, which is really old in ferret years. They live between four and six, usually. She's got cysts on her endocrine gland... But she doesn't know she's sick, so that's good. Still runs around, quacking (yes, ferrets quack) up a storm, attacking feet, and being adorable in general. But she's going bald, and she probably has less than a year left.

*sigh*

Work sucks, social life non-existant. Waiting for a year-old question to be answered by the medical system. Thinking too much about the past.

But I've got my favorite album of all time on vinyl, given to me by Mikhail fr my birthday, and I've got an 8 inch statuette of Ash from Army of Darkness (yeppers, chainsaw and all; front cover pose, sans girl), loosely holding the chain attached to my blue devil ducky straight from Retail Slut (again, through Mike), and I'm wearing plaid. All these are good things.

Oh yeh, duh, and I'm totally in love.   But he knows that, and I know that, and I'm sure everyone on PiP knows that, so who needs to push it?

Actually, it's not that I don't have a life, it's that you don't want to know. I mean, really really don't want to know.

I got the Princess of Ireland Barbie, and somehow there are fetish images attached to her already... Lori is a very, very twisted li'l gal... Who speaks of herself in the third person.

But is it my fault that they wrapped her wrists in wires??
