if you dont know the word 'newsagent' in the usa (or anywhere else) it means that type of shop which sells newspapers, magazines, cigarettes, sweets (candy) etc ............................ The rain has been spun through her hair like a splatter of reminder of february, when she entered the shop - I was there buying cigarettes for some mere child outside (how noble of me) when i caught sight of her enter the doorway for an instant she stopped and stared into newsagent nothingness, and I looked at her, my dear friend, innocent of the dangers her heart would soon face, but her brave face shone through into that vaguely neareastern-feeling place (does the foreigness of the owners affect a shop?) and mundane brightness of the lights lit her and peeled layer after layer of clouded-over sight from my eyes or winter indulgence from her beauty and I saw, for the first time perhaps my true revealed love, my destiny, even if a short one.. yes, at that my soul wanted to kiss her, even though my mouth didn't know it to kiss my dear friend, to kiss her, how thereafter it seemed obscene and wonderful.......
