Showed the world it had the stuff
Take it to the right conclusion
The sons of freedom hanging tough

They stormed that beach, early morning
Each knowing that they could die
They did that unmitigated act
Without ever asking why

2nd stanza looks like it might have a typo..last line.

and very nicely done by the way...I have been secretly admiring your work for awhile.
