Black tie, seemed comfortable on white when I entered. As a dominant scent from loss, greets you first. Although others would corral with the usual staged choreography. After sorry, I sat down for a moment and could only see still. Like reality’s mutt, following the lesser of what you cannot control. The surroundings somehow make you feel like a friend. As the exit reminded me I have been here before. I wondered - Will I be wearing a black tie when I won’t? If nothing is something |
