Pi said orange is the colour of life, [He said] There aren't any orange leaves in India, [I bet] There's no orange in your hair either, nor Anywhere of importance, just shadows. Charcoal tinted lashes, I keep kissing By mistake, like army coloured fir-trees. I'd call you green if I could, stuck between Some "radiant energy with wavelengths of" (About) "Four hundred and ninety to five Hundred and seventy nanometres". But I don't do mathematics in bed, Even you, I think, stop interpreting Sensory impulses. There's aqua all Around, I smell a manifesto too. |

I guess here is not the place for sycophants, but Wow! I really loved this; the words really resonated with me. In particular I liked the last stanza, to me this is pure poetry, the impact, the images, the vision; it’s all, spectacular. I could fall in love with this poem and perhaps I have; Critical analysis this is not, adoration it is. Andrew ![]() |

Marshalzu thank you very much, the last line and a half actually is causing a bit of a block for me as it doesn't conclude succesfully enough that battle between "just doing it" and "analysing everything". Am not sure yet how defeated the female voice is and i'm not sure i want the ending to clarify anything... tis hard... but thank you very much for your comments, i shall blush all day... |
