Cobwebs Only in thy corners do mine cobwebs appear yet thy presence a magnet for thee I often fear so trapped mine voice screams out for freedom silence creates a wall upon which I do succumb. I see thy mean beast eyes devouring mine soul eating me piece by piece ending my present toll he canst take mine being I will escape his wrath where is thy doorway to thine calm peaceful path? See mine self is not weak just lost to thy spider he sees mine selfishness and spins thy web glider knowing one day I'll no longer fight him bare handed and forever be trapped as his, for his game is candid. For now escape is imminent as I further mine distance from thine cobwebs that tangle mine mind spewing dust mine own cold prisons waiting whilst I clean up thy mess reaching out to live thine simple life within thy sun's caress. |

Fight thy good fight Esmeralda,...Good poem...like your spirit. Thou devil inside, no doubt thee will slay. Thy fight will be o'er, er'e new light of day thine web disappears And thee on thy way. |

Wonderful! I enjoyed reading this, but the cobwebs sent shivers up my back. ![]() ![]() ![]() MAY THE ROAD RISE TO MEET YOU, MAY THE WIND BE ALWAYS AT YOUR BACK MAY THE SUN SHINE UPON YOUR FACE THE RAINS FALL SOFT UPON YOUR FIELDS AND, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, MAY GOD HOLD YOU IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND Irish Blessing |
