I feel bitter,i feel cold it's a shame this feeling's old. Twelve days i did wait for you, three more did i implore you & wait & wait i did some more, i strained my ears,i walked the floor. Yet still i hear not your signal, nor your footstep on the shingle. Have you betrayed me??¿ With your love, have you slayed me??¿ I bid you no ill fortune, but please just end this torture. Will you kindly now appear??¿ Or will we never again meet here??¿ The questions, they come & go, the answers truely you should know. Along your path have you been harmed??¿ Or by some other, are you charmed??¿ Do you love me,do you know??¿ Do you hate me,would it show??¿ No evil would i bear you, but with no other would i share you. I simply wish to know. < !signature--> And there she weaves by night and day, a magic web of colours gay.~Tennyson [This message has been edited by Swåmp¤Faerÿie (edited 04-10-2000).] |

The pain of not knowing is conveyed with stark realism for me in this. I feel for you. May your roof never fall in and those beneath it never fall out. Irish proverb. |

Powerful piece of work here! I too can feel the pain and fear of not knowing that leaps out in your words. Love and hugs, Lizzie "Poetry is the true expression of my soul, it is my ultimate means of communication. It is a rainbow of delight." |

The pain shows in your words.. Gripping yet honest. It shows a humans true feelings. Wonderful work. MAY THE ROAD RISE TO MEET YOU, MAY THE WIND BE ALWAYS AT YOUR BACK MAY THE SUN SHINE UPON YOUR FACE THE RAINS FALL SOFT UPON YOUR FIELDS AND, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, MAY GOD HOLD YOU IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND Irish Blessing |
