Here I sit, unloved unwanted praying for the day that love shines on my door I ponder why I can not find it not smart enough not handsome enough not charming enough not outgoing enough I watch love from afar and see its beauty so on the faces of friends and lovers I wonder, what does love feel like and why does it elude me so I feel this emptiness, this void deep within I know what can fill it but I cannot have it because I am not worthy to have it I pray that I will find love one day So I can end the pain of emptiness inside the pain of being alone To find love is to know true happiness... to lose love is to lose everything |

Loney Shadow, First, the technical. I like your poem. I think it is well written. Good job. Second, to the content. You are not finding love because you are SITTING ON YOUR BUTT. Love is not going to fall into your lap...GO OUT AND PERSUE IT. Otherwise, you are fishing without a hook. My humble opinion. INclan |
