(I chose to reply to my brother's flattering poem about me with a poem of my own--so you will know, the rest of the story...)

He's more than I will ever be,
He e'er projects HIS qualities.
I seem to be his focus for this,
But believe me friends, the Goodness is His!

He has always been bigger than me,
In Birth weight and in Reality.
I know that I can't say this enough,
When I look at him--I must always look Up!

For a time as Twins, competitors we became,
But even then it was still the same.
In our youth, we took different paths,
But in all ways,me he has surpassed!

His Love, his Zeal, his Nature Good,
Has made our Bond to be what it should.
As Twins, as Brothers-of mutual Respect,
His Greatness in Loving deeds he reflects.

If the Truth be known, as it should be,
If life, he's accomplished far more than me.
As a Professional, and as a Family man,
He well fulfills his life's demands!

His thoughtfulness is obvious,he calls me every
    day,
And with his happy cheerfulness, he sends me on
    my way.
Much like our dear departed father,whose laugh was
    unique,
My Brother's laughter's a Rainbow-No grander one
    you'd seek!

He will forever have my respect,
His Humbleness and Humor is circumspect.
And even as a Poet, tho' of a later start,
His works always amaze me, he does it with such
    heart!

No, Let's give Honor where Honor is Due,
It lie's not with me, but Dennis, with YOU.
You're the one I look up to,You've always been
    there,
How could I Not love you, My Brother, so Dear!!!

Bravo!!! It's so wonderful to see two brothers that are so devoted. Your love for each other is it's own tribute to you both. God Bless!!

A wonderful affirmation of Dennis' tribute to you , and an incredible declaration of your affection and admiration for him.

This is wonderful David. Brothers dueling with words over who is the best. You both sound like great guys to me and, even better brothers.

Well, David, I thought Dennis' tribute was quite good, but I think you've out done him--don't want to cause a sibling rivalry.

I know twins have a special bond, but it's always nice to see siblings get along so well.
