I challenge you to have a look Into my eyes and say What it is you see in there Is it true what they say Some say I have the power To look straight into their hearts Some say my eyes are piercing Seeing every secret thought Some see the joy and laughter Or catch me wandering Some see the hidden pain That lays deep within Some see the love I feel For friends to me so dear Some dare to have a look At my innermost fears Yet no-one was able To see the "all" of me I challenge you to have a look And tell me what you see Only the one who dares To have a real good look Will find I truly am Just an open book Do you dare to enter The windows Of my soul ? A novel approach Munda. I accept the challenge. Tell me where or when May your roof never fall in and those beneath it never fall out. Irish proverb. |

This is an amazing piece Munda. As J said, pretty deep. ...Give me the strength to walk the soft earth, a relative to all that is.... Black Eagle Oglala Sioux holy man |

Your poem really describes the way ALL people are. We wait and wait for someone who can come along and see the whole person, not just the surface, and not just ONE element of the person. I'm one of the fortunate ones who have found that person =] And there she weaves by night and day, a magic web of colours gay.~Tennyson |

Munda, A poem as deep as your eyes. I'm up for a good challenge, but first you'll have to take off your sunglasses. ~Gene |

Munda--A deep and touching poem.... I hope that someone gallantly meets the challenge head-on and sees "all" of you. I'm glad they are windows to your soul and not doors. "Unto thine own self be true, and it must follow as the night, the day; thou cans't not be false to any man."---Shakespeare |

Behind every beautiful face there's some kind of pain. Bin to the bottom of a whirl pool of lies Aint looking for nothing in anyones eyes. Do we ever TRULY know each other? A very thought provoking poem Munda. Jon |

This was great, Munda, and intriguing challenge if someone can't see all of you they are missing out on a great person!!! The one that will see all with out judging or forming opinions exists out there one day you will meet Mystical being which makes ink flow Surround me in your incandescent glow Fill my brain with thoughts and rhyme As I try to capture but a moment in time ~Shan~ |

I wish I could look through the windows...seeing into your soul and seeing who you really are would be a real treat. Just like reading your lovely poem was. Beautiful job on that poem, Munda! Love and hugs, Lizzie |

I'm sorry to say, it seems that is the way all people are. I have yet to find a person that isn't overly concerned with the outside shell, rather than the hopes and dreams that lie within the window of our souls. I wish the world weren't so self-centered, but it is people like the ones who spend a lot of our time in the Pub, that can change that. Hope, Alicia A. Renzelman |

Munda, This is a wonderful piece. So many people don't even try to look through the windows of our being. I hope someday to find someone who does and I hope you do too. So well written... I loved it... so deep ...the concept...windows of a soul... i would always say the mind had windows... the soul...another lesson from munda... i loved the concept.. great! If all was light...then I would have never learnt the dark...from which such truth evolves from which evolves the light... Avanti Rao |
