Where are you Bill poet of brotherhood? Did you think that you were not understood? I miss reading of adventures that occurred in foreign places. I miss reading of your "brothers" and envisioning their faces. Your words do them honor, the Veterans of our land. They paint the bond you had as you struggled hand in hand. Please come back to the Pub, write more for us to see. Share with us the footprints left in the sands of history. |

Thank you Kim, I have not been on the pub for no other reason than I just figured people were tired of reading about my Corps, you see, only another Marine can understand what being a Marine means, and it is usless to try and make others feel the way we do. I appreciate your interest and will grant your wish, which you may regret......bill |

Wonderful poem, childomine! Very well written! Bill- you are wrong. Your wonderful poems convey very much the 'feel' that you are trying to communicate! I think that is one of the challenges of a writer....to make someone feel and understand something that they haven't personally experienced! So write on Bill!! You do it well!! Denise |
