My love is a river,
it flows with a steady stream
to the one I desire,
though young,
it’s banks are high,
the course steady
and true,
if you remain still
in it’s path dear one,
it will wash over you,
with gentle cascades
of affection,
bathe you in delightful
sensations of the heart,
nourish your soul,
satisfy the thurst
of your need,
drink deeply of it’s refreshment,
feel the cool embrace,
the river is endless,
molded to your desire,
responsive to your thoughts,
existing only for your pleasure,
the river is yours,
command,
and it obeys

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost
