It has been ages since i last stepped into Corner Pub!How r u fellow poets?Piptalk......hmmm hope u guys'll like this one...... love, chinese gal michelle -------------------------------------------- Picking up the pieces One by one This is what u left me with Was it fun? Mending up the fragments Two by two I suddenly recall That I loved u This is just a puzzle Of my heart Just when things were perfect Everything fell apart One of these days I shall Three by three Piece together the reason U left me I realise that my heart Was piece by piece Because u came along They joined in peace The day u left in a huff I guessed so That everything was wrong It pays to be strong So who was wrong? I shall never again Fall in love Because the pieces in picked up Were incomplete Days and years may go by Four by four But forever I shall remain Emptied soul Picking up the pieces Soul of my heart Those that couldn’t be found Followed ur heart ------------------------- If there cannot be equal in affection, then let the one with more be me - midnightblues™ |

This is very good. I enjoyed it. I do not understand the fad for writing u for you, but I guess I am old and crotchety. But your poem was very rhythmic and well written. Joyce |
