You came in spring when I was free To let you weave your sorcery. All through the summer, hot and long, I listened to your siren song And on into a splendid fall, I answered to your every call. Then winter came and where were you Just when I needed someone who Would help we weather winter sights Of shorter days and darker nights? Of wind and storms, of ice and snow And temperatures that plunged below The freezing mark. But I came through Quite nicely, with no thanks to you. If you return to find me where I was before, then best beware! I'll not be fooled again that way And I will never let you stay, But yet I must admit that I Will keep your memory till I die! Great poem. It kinda relates to one of my poem. Again great work, enjoy reading it. But next time be a little bit more simple. Ronil (One becomes god only when they have fully understood the role of being a human being.) |
