A soft April shower,
descends in twilight time.
A light mist twirling,
among the daffodils blossoms.
Hyacinths intoxicate the air.

The stage is mystically set,
for the Spring Fairy Queen.
As she reigns only on such
a garden in full blossom
of springs April splendor.

The purple of Hyacinths her robes.
Tiny daffodils of gold her crown.
She raises her wand on high,
showering Fairy Dust over all!

This wondrous Spring Garden
becomes alive with Fairies,
as fairy Dust kisses each petal,
releasing sweet fragrance to allure.

Fairies play hide and seek
and dance and sing of Spring
among the Pansy smiles.

Come and Join in Fairy delight.
Feel younger than Springtime.

And if you believe,
the Fairy Queen of Spring
will grant her Magic Wish!

For she will make your heart to Blossom
with Eternal Spring!

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Lovely poem!  I have a "fairy ring" on the lawn down by the creek.

ellie, what a delightful picture book this would make. A lovely scene that you have painted here.

It take the young or young at heart, to see the fairy queen.  Very good. Joyce

I love your Fairy Queen, Ellie!
And wouldn't Eternal Spring be blissful....sigh.
Oh, well - we must cherish her visit all the more....the very best time of the year!
