I am the Muse
who creates worlds of lyrical beauty
on wings of eagles' screams that
echo in the sky painted
with darkness and despair.
Mellifluous is my voice
that gives resolutions,
no promised solution,
just illusions of sanity
in the crystal rain that
falls from weeping faces.
Reality is illumination.

Secluded in my hollow mind
thoughts slowly reverberate;
blossom into words, wither then die.
Germinated seeds—endless cycle;
subsistence from the harvest
gleaned from barren fields
throughout the moonlit night.
Wandering verbosity, bitter rime;
solitary traveler on path not taken
peers through the window.
Ethereal veil—shadows in pane;
reflected serenity resides
in poignant splendor.
I am the Muse.
