I turn on the television
It is the same ol’ drama
Some fool cheat on his wife
Or worse yet,
Killed his own mama,

I turn on the radio
Now a day you hear young ones,
Singing about love and hate
As if they created
This trauma,

I open a tabloid,
For I trust in the old system,
But it contains the same gibberish,
Just like its counterparts.

Yes thee is plenty and too much of bad news. But ther is good out there, we just don't hear about it. Take heart dear Xeonox. We wil survive. Joyce

And you know it just keeps on happening...whether we read/watch/hear it, or not; so I try to avoid the news as much as possible, and have gotten quite good at it.
