Ok I've not posted in passions for a little while, and the corner pub for a long while. But I've since decided to take a break for a while. Don't know how long i'll be gone for, but I promise to check in now and then. So I'll leave you this. I've walked down a dark road, A lonely road for many years, Until the road came to sunshine, I have never looked back again, Was when our paths began to cross, We travelled on that road together, Fear and loneliness gone in a second, Always glad of your companionship, But came the day when we stumbled, Upon a crossroad to decide which way next, And in order for each of us to grow, We had to take different paths now, After the goodbyes I set along my path, But instead of finding loneliness again, The road wasn't so lonely now, And you had set me on a better path, Took the long way round but somehow, The next crossroad I came across, And also came across you again, So we began our jouneys once more , After many crossroads later with and without you, We'd always find each other as friends again, But as the next crossroad nears I'll take a diferent path, But do not worry because I'll meet you at the next crossroad. Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning. Maria, what lovely thoughts you have expressed here! There are always certain people whose paths keep intersecting ours, and they make a difference even when they are walking in different directions for a while. Hope you don't stay away too long. We'll miss you. hugs To love another person is to see the face of God. |

I can truly appreciate this one... for many years I crossed paths with a good friend... For one reason or another we never stayed together... today I call her my wife. If its ment to be... its ment to be. Peace. |

A lovely piece filled with truthful worlds. I havent long traveled down the paths in life, but I have come to many crossroads, some as painful as the one you mentioned in this poem. Thank you for sharing it with us. Keith every day is a new day with which we can change the world |

Seems like the only truth is the one that takes the other path and always come back to you. This was a good piece I liked it and it gave me a sense of hope to go along my own little road. |
