Part I:  Perception

In a rebus I slowly dance,
near by the shadowy shade haunts me.
We walk in old footsteps tracing a path
along the never-ending trail of words;
thus so, the specter's ghost slides into my mind
to dredge up memories of the past.
As we pace our hearts in silent misery,
who is haunting who?

Part II:  Entreaty

Beloved, why do thee torment me so,
thy back turned in grievous cold.

Can thou not see, I been stripped bare,
my bones lie alone over there.

These ivory orbs are empty pools,
and the moon mocks me for a fool.

Dark desert night slowly slips by,
     a melancholy star-song cries.

I weep unto thee, take my hand
as I sink beneath this bleak land.

Can thou see, to reach out to me,
my parched lips tremble with need.

Grant me this boon, thy kiss of life,
let us now end this needless strife

Part III:  Denouement

The stars! Look at the stars!
They burn so brightly,
spinning madly
through dark desert skies,

As I can only wait
for your hand to reach down
and wipe the tears from my face.

Will the redwings of dawn ever come?

"Come...dance with me, into my world of words."

I love these, you are very talented

Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning.
