The night descends a dark blanket invading languid thoughts casting long shadows in the fading light shadows which reach into the mind like tentacles magnifying the loneliness The absence of one so dear to the faltering spirit presses deeply without respite into the dark recesses of a damaged soul the long eventless days drone on into insufferable night This pain a stranger to relief like a sharp knife inflicts innumerable tiny wounds on a damaged heart each slow beat fainter than the last thumps a lonely message on the heavy night air miss you... need you... want you... the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |

can't tell you how many night i've had like that, but I like the way you've done it There are enough colours in the world, To paint your own dreams, You won't get them, Till you try. |

Pegasus; My heart feels this loneliness for you. I pray that all turns out well, hopefully your prayers and dreams will come true! Nothing is impossible with God! Ellie Summers haunting melody that awakens the butterflies, calling them to join the dance in their silent song of praise to God. eL |

A song for everyone who has ever suffered a broken heart, which I suppose is nearly all of us. It hits pretty close to home, which is to say, well done. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |

Pegasus..the heart is the doorway to the soul..it is said..loneliness can be very cruel sometimes. "Miss you, need you, want you"...echoes from the past to many. Your heart was poured out in this poem....and I, for one, can relate...beautiful, but sad....Twilah |

It's worth a second look I can tell you Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning. |

Lost and lonely...A sad piece here, Pegasus...Beautifully written, I know I'm echoing whats been said, but thought my own two cents would hold some value at any rate. |
