Causes bitter-sweet pain

Reaching out for you

Loneliness creeps in
Blink back a tear

Looking at the calender
Still counting every hour
One day circled in red
Stands out like a tower

Soon to be re-united
Friends together at last
Then this heart-broken sorrow
Will be a thing of the past

I could feel the sadness you exhibit through this poem, having friends to lean on whether right next door or online can make one feel much happier. I hope the days pass quickly for you so that you are reunited with those special people.
