I came across a dark path,
One day amist the library,
Amosnt tall selves and shadows,
One thick book stole attention,

I turned to the last chapter,
And faintly famillar verses,
Arose and I remebered,
Exactly were the verses,

And as I read the chapter,
My life replayed again,
There amonst the pages,
My sorrows and my joys,

As I reached the end,
One verse struck me hard,
'She read her last thoughts,
To her life was meaningless',

Appeared then and only then,
The next chapter had begun.

Not often that we get to read the book of our own lives, Maria. Very interesting thoughts.

To love another person is to see the face of God.

Ahhhh the next chapter...this speaks of hope. I like that.
All have meaning and purpose. There is a far bigger plan. Some find it, some don't. We have to search with all our heart.
Good poem.

Second chance, so glad you pulled that book down off the shelf. I like the analogy of the poem.

Keep in mind that book is yours, and the next chapters are constantly being written! I too enjoyed the idea behind this, the book telling of a lifes story and all. Well written and happily read!
