I run along the rock faces, footprints follow eyes, lips kiss my bare heals. Curled in the palm of stone, moss covered and cool firm. I gather stars of the sky, with black nets to scoop and cradle my findings. I can dry the tears of the moon, childlike and silver wet. I collect dreams of the ocean like stories in old books and postcards from forgein places. My collection is never complete, but always full and bright unique. I walk through forrests where slender fingers of trees gentley brush back my hair and add to it golden streams of sparkling and airy web. I sleep among the sweet grasses, with feild creatures bundled beside me, to protect and watch me and comfort when there is sorrow. Guardians warm and silent talk. I wonder beneath the canopy, accompanied by my dearest companions, the flowers and the great trees, where the white rabbits and unicorns stay by my side, fearless and sweet words. I live on the plains between rocks and sky, where few trees rise up to feed me and solitary streams will let me drink. Peaceful and simple love. You wonder why i have not thought to marry. Simple,i have no need. The mountains will kiss and hold me. The sky is full of my many children. The oceans fulfill every dream, trees to comb my hair and adorn me with rarest jewels. Warm sweet grasses put me to sleep and feild animals watch over me. Plant's and dream creatures to return my admiration and conversation. The plains will provide me banquets and feast. This is love, what man could be so perfect as that which i have? I am content,i am bachelorette complete, whole, and i posses love more true. Do i contradict myself?Very well i contradict myself.I contain multitudes.~walt whitman |

a nice poem of freedom and contentment. I wish I was as happy. I envy you.. the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |

Exquisite! What more do you need? A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |

I was thinking that this made me think of Whitman, and then got down to the end and saw your signature quote. You do the style well. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |
