I felt the sun in your eyes And I tasted rain on your lips I fell through your wide open skies And glided down on your finger tips I felt the pain in your soul And I mourned the hurt on your heart What I had I gave to you whole Torn together to never part I felt your embrace all around me And I sensed safety in your touch Just when I felt your arms surround me I never thought you'd hurt me this much [This message has been edited by Denise (edited 02-01-2001).] |

That's very sad, Bob. Very well expressed. Denise |

Bob, this is certainly sad, but it is very beautifully written. I love the way you used metaphors, and also am fascinated for some reason by the seventh and eighth lines, where you use "whole" and then "part", but with a different meaning of "part" than I would have expected. Anyway, I guess I'm rambling. I did enjoy this. I'd like to see more like it from you. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |
