I don’t know why I write these pondering Of my souls mournful wanderings Each day I drag myself out of bed, Why? I’m trying to get a head Yet each day I fall farther behind What’s real slips a bit from my mind I scratch and crawl my way on Trying to catch what is so long gone There is no other recourse that I know Than to push for the light and let my soul grow Hope is what drives my inner machine Looking for life’s luscious green Someday all that will be mine And upon livings joy’s I will dine every day is a new day with which we can change the world |

quote: Really enjoy these two lines...they talk to me. A wondering poem about life. "Come...dance with me, into my world of words." |

Very nice. I like how you begin with questioning yourself. Do you know that your answer is in your signature? Gene [This message has been edited by u_gene (edited 01-18-2001).] |

Hope and courage, these are of which you write... Ellie A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |
