There's always a time for goodbyes And a time to sit down and cry Time to breathe deep and sigh And at the end of your life, to die There's always time for a smile Time to run the rest of the mile Time for hugging your friends awhile And time for looking through old files Time for a minute of listening Looking at raindrops that are glistening Even some sweet times for kissing And always time for bitter-sweet missing There's time in your life to remember To feel the warmth of love's embers Time to spend with family members And for hot chocolate in December Always some time to be spontaneous Looking at the stars to make a wish If you like, there's time to fish Or to sit down and eat your favorite dish There's always time for a drink Time to sit quietly and think Time to enjoy a bath so you don't stink And time in life to pass on a wink There's always time for another dance Time for a little love and romance And for that extra second glance It's your life, there's time...dare to take the chance There's always time to do something for yourself even when you don't think there is. And it's suprising how good you feel after taking that extra minute in the day just for you. Don't be afraid to be a minute late so your friend can have the hug they need so badly. Or so you can dance one more time with that special someone. Life's not a race to win. It's something to be treasured and enjoyed. Live it for you, not rest of the world. May everyone find the happiness that's waiting for them. Always, BWA With a little piece of tomorrow, You'll have to kiss yesterday goodbye. Because today won't last forever, And the past will only make you cry. |

How wonderful this is....all to often people rush around missing the most important things in life....but, being a single mom with 2 children and a full-time job...I still try my best to remember that the dishes will wait long enough for me to read them that story or steal one more hug...thanks. Wise advise to slow down or regret it later! Really enjoyed this one! And...I love the the rhyming scheme in each stanza, I don't think that was too easy to do! |
