the Present Here we are at Christmas time winter weather, bitter cold north wind cutting to bone. A time for family, friends seeking heat and comfort together in our homes. As usual, this time of year we have no money to spend seems every year we are broke. Must be God’s way of saying put Christ back in Christmas the rest is just a hoax. Just another burden watching the world at play spending like no tomorrow. Haven’t we all lost sight of what Christmas means, whose direction we follow? Seems to this one person that Christmas must be more a time to love and share. Perhaps time to make our gifts... something original, made by hand something with a personal flair. Here we are at Christmas time broke, yet rich in many ways life is good, God is true. If this poem is striking home then it must be my gift just for you. bleeding... bleeding, you did strike home...i wondered why i never thought of making my own christmas gifts before... perhaps i shall start to do so next christmas?  appreciating your thoughts and merry xmas!!  |
