He plays His soft, arousing tune, In ways That leaves your senses strewn Because For no other reason than He does And only 'cause he can He strums A single haunting chord He hums With every note explored Explain How can you do just such? In vain It's then you think too much Just let The music carry you I'll bet You'll see a view anew And yet It all comes from those strings As fret by fret* the music rings You hear A melancholy song A tear Moves down your face, a long Wet path It leaves, upon your face, a sign It hath Joined with that heart of thine And though All that you've now heard It's so That it may sound absurd But I Have played all this, it's true It's my Small Christmas gift to you Yet you Don't know, and that's just fine It's through Some method, quite divine It must Be done by God, who let Me just Show love. --Your Monitor Pet P.S. I really don't believe That, yes You could not now conceive The piece You think your speakers play-- Oh, sheesh I made that up today. And even though You might like it, you see-- You'll never know That it was me. *P.P.S. Oh don't look at me, I can't play guitar at all  but my monitor pet sure can...I'm not kidding at all when I say I heard a song playing very very close to me and it was really cool, so enchanting...then when I was about to log off, I noticed that my speakers were off the entire time. I play guitar and this was beautiful. I liked it a lot! Good job on this one spyro!  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |

Thanks for the replies everyone! I printed them out and put them in front of my little monitor pet...don't know what his opinion of them is (he won't tell me), but I'm sure he's grateful, as am I!
