Hot eyes and cool sea

Summer has finally arrived I
think, albeit
the tilt of this earth has proven
otherwise
air feels right and the ocean
with her streaks of baby blue
curve with the pull of
North and South
land is like Saturn and the sea
her rings, within them
small vessels resemble dust,
particles shining from sun’s
reflection, sending  what
seems to be Morse code
blinding my stare

heads grin wide from the bounce
of Pacific’s knee, childlike
we are, once in her arms
waiting, waiting for her push
her withdrawal,  the rush
of being hurled into her,
shattering the glass-like waves
only to emerge cut and bruised
but alive
still

this moment,
a never ending picture,
a liquid meeting of
hot eyes and cool sea

It is only right that someone like you who writes so beautifully have a view such as the one you describe. Love it as usual dear.

May I say Baby Roo that this is my most FAVOURITE of yours so far.

Absolutely 100%

Especially with 'shattering' there - much better.

This has that raw hurt feel that I so love in poetry - litle miss melancholic that I am.

Hugs and well done dear (L)(K) bat
