Serenity

With the press of your lips upon my face, morning comes again.

After you have risen, I roll over across tousled bed sheets.

The warmth you leave behind comforts, making your absence bearable.

The imagery in this is warm and comforting... just proves that a poem need not be long to affect you or get a feeling across. This was really nice.

This was beautiful! I liked this very much!

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them!

Nice....of course I'm going have to admit that I had to look up the form, I like it! Adding to my list of forms to try.  Here is a link if anyone else is interested.

Thanks for such a lovely introduction to a new form!  I enjoyed and learned.  Couldn't be better!

Thank you everyone

Sijo is fun to work with, but beware, it is more difficult than it appears. It took me over 3 hours just to get the sylable count right. LOL!
