I was sitting at work today when Jesse stopped by on ICQ and said hello.  There was no way for him to know how incredibly alone I was feeling, so this I dedicate to him.  For making me feel like part of the world again.  Thankyou Jesse.  I know it's cheesy, but I hope you enjoy.

I don't know your name
Or from where you came
But I was warmed today
By a smile you sent my way
After feeling all alone
You made me feel at home
Seems not everyone
Is as bad as some
So thankyou for your kindness
It was more then what I dared wish
I'm glad you noticed me
I don't feel quite so lonely
And I'll pass the smile along
So more people feel like they belong...

With a little piece of tomorrow,
You'll have to kiss yesterday goodbye.
Because today won't last forever,
And the past will only make you cry.

Thanks, Angel!  My pleasure.  And it is nice when people drop in and turn your mood around, isn't it?

that was nice of you to acknowledge someone who brightened your day.

Lovely poem...isn't it great when the right people show up at the right time just when we need them?   ellie

not cheesy at all..i know just how a simple short SMS message via handphone can make my day...i guess we need others to reassure that we actually do exist and are cared by others...

a smile back to you
