What Does Your House Look Like?

Different yet alike,
That's what I am,
Why can't I be like you?
Why can't I be in your shoes?

What does your house look like?
What color is your bike?
I want to see my friends,
Talk to them on the phone is all I can do.
Sometimes I just want to be WITH you.
I want to be able to go Christmas shopping or open a jar,
Without having someone come from afar,
To help me.

I get so mad at the world,
I want to be able to go visit my friends, my family,
Not have them have to come to me all the time.

Yes, I know the feeling... I've had the same experience a few times in my short life, and it's not very fun--but then again, I've been a lot of places and seen a lot of things...and I wonder, What would it be like if I were them?

Great poem, Dawn! Keep pumping 'em out!!

Human, my heart and soul be
That of a dragon.

nice effort Dawn..but, be careful what you wish for..

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

Desr Dawn; Lovely writing, my friend. But this is the life that you have and God wants to give you peace with it, so acceptance is the only answer. You are such a beautiful heart and alot of that has grown because of yout siuation, so use all that are to grow and be happy.  My house is usually messy because I spend too much time at passions! worth every minute of it! maybe the fairies will come and clean it for me! Dawn, This poem speaks very well of frustrations that I know you have to deal with everyday of your life, but know my friend that coming to visit You is a joy I treasure.

Dawn,
Good to see you writing, whether venting steam or talking about things that are dear, Keep writing from the heart and you can't miss! Your friend, Dennis :^)

When the veiling cloud has passed
Playful shadows dance

Hmm...good to see you venting, and I've often wondered what it would be like to have someone elses life for a bit...but like it was said earlier, be careful what you wish for... "Things aren't always what they seem."

ouch! this tells so much of your frustrations...im not sure as to what to say but life itself is a bliss and perhaps we should always remind ourselves that living is already the greatest joy...

HUGS...hope you are feeling better

Awww well hey i know how this feels. I'm always moving from place to place and considering i'll be heading off to college soon means that this will be the case for a while. Anyway good poem and hope to read more!

Sorry all. I needed to find this poem today and this was the easiest way of making sure I could always find my poetry easily. Put it in my library.
