Its -11 degrees farenheit here in duluth, and thats not counting the wind chill.  I thought this fitting for the day.


Sun without warmth
Summers teasing corpse
Wind without compasion
Winters gasp of death

Life here complains
Moaning groaning howling
Daring the cold sounds unsavory
Even my Columbia parka protests

Those that dare to venture out
Scurry from cover to shelter
Hunched and hiding in nylon shells
Quivering from the ravenous chill

ok..now that you described what a walking popcycle is like..WHY would anyone LIVE there?....lol..this was a cool(heheh) piece.

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost
