This is a tribute to a former Pub'er who showed me that there is no real goodbye, it's really just "Until we meet again...," and to my best friend of 1 1/2 years.  Thank you both.  You have been such an inspiration.  I luv y'all... *~AR~*

Until we meet again
I smile through my tears
Until we meet again
I hold onto yesterday
Until we meet again
I let go of all my fears
Until we meet again
There is nothing left to say

I smile through my tears
When I cannot hold them back
I smile through my tears
When I have to say goodbye
I smile through my tears
And reveal all I lack
I smile through my tears
As I muffle my cries

I hold onto yesterday
With each ounce of my hope
I hold onto yesterday
With every last breath
I hold onto yesterday
For it helps me cope
I hold onto yesterday
Until my death

I let go of all my fears
And expect you to do the same
I let go of all my fears
I am only loving when I'm with you
I let go of all my fears
So I only have myself to blame
I let go of all my fears
And make one out of two

There is nothing left to say
Once we have finished the play
There is nothing left to say
When we loose faith in Homecoming mums
There is nothing left to say
Once we've walked away
There is nothing left to say
Until tomorrow comes

Until we meet again
I smile through my tears
Until we meet again
I hold onto yesterday
Until we meet again
I let go of all my fears
Until we meet again
There is nothing left to say

so sad to say goodby when we really don't want to..so why do it?..but we can only hold onto yesterday for as long as we have no tomorrows that help us forget.

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

Alicia,
This poem actually brought tears to my eyes.  Wow.     It is hard to say goodbye...and saying "Until we meet again" is such a nicer way to do it....I really enjoyed reading this.

Alice, I have always believed that our memories are the real souvineers (sp) of our life. Wonderful writing.

Alicia,
Goodbyes are so harsh,
Sounds just like the end,
Let's keep it temporary,
Til we meet again,my friend.

Parting is such sweet sorrow.

When the veiling cloud has passed
Playful shadows dance

They could invent another word
That means the same as good-bye,
But, if they did the new word,
Would no doubt make us cry.

So, as you are feeling down,
Remember, good-bye is just a start...
It doesn't mean forever...
'Cuz you'll still be in my heart.

Best

Thanks all!  You are so nice...
William,
Alice?  That's what my older brother has always called me... LOL!
Dennis,
"...That I shall say goodbye 'til it be 'morrow..."
By the way, how was everyone's Thanksgiving?
Luv,
