My dear wife wants me to make a " coffeetable/scrapbook " of all the Squacth stuff... if and when I do...the Pub regulars all get copies...I promise... Sol  " Hey SOL!! I met a GIRL!!" Squatch called across the park it was early still that morning late fall is always dark But I saw them walking 'hand in hand' I saw her rustic dress simple cotton, beads in her hair and I tried to look impressed " Sol, this is Lady." my hand met hers in kind " A nickname I take it??' asked I politely, yet so blind " No ..that's what she IS" my behemoth friend told me she smiled, looked embarassed I nodded 'Oh....I see.' We sat down at a picnic table Squatch happy on the grass " Hey you wanna play some dice?" asked Squatch " Yes, please!" Lady's voice, like tinkling glass He pulled a cup out from his backpack (( the one he stole from me )) " Lady's really good at games! Just watch and you will see!" I looked sidelong at the Bigfoot glanced up at his lady She was 'earthy' just like him Not the 'game' type did she seem. Squatch rolled and got a seven Lady rolled a seven too I got 'snake eyes' EVERYTIME!! don't beleive me?? well its true!! I thought hard and I pondered as I kept losing with the dice I reasoned she was special ..mystical...but nice. And then I smiled, grinned dopey As if hit by a Mack Truck Knowing why I had been losing ( snicker ) playing dice...with Lady Luck!!! |
