First of all an apology. Last Summer work has been extremely busy and it still is. Therefore I have not been around much. I still have some huge projects waiting for me (privately), but I will make more time for my friends. Ah, I see my stool is free...bartender...this round's on me ! Mental poverty; earthly wealth Mankind's illness; egoism and stealth Words, too often, arrows of hurt Malicious violence quenching evil thirst It saddens me to see the world Mankind's materialism unfurled In silent screams to please be heard Desperate for love; immensely hurt And yet I see some beacons bright From the stars above shining a light Loving, guiding for all to see Patiently waiting for you and me Yet two sparks do not make a flame But millions do; let's make that our aim To give a helping hand to the stars By reaching out with love from afar Munda |

Thanks for the hopeful look at a world that can be awfully depressing sometimes. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |

Munda, Hi! So glad I returned for your return. ha. I've been gone too. Try to stop in when I can. Lovely poem. There is hope in the stars. And the people walking around disguised as stars and angels, glistening with hope. They can make a diff. no..WE ALL can make a difference. Thanks for writing. Joy |
