Fall drained of its' hues
Threat'ning sky a murky gray
Laden clouds erupt
Bitter rain assaults the gloom
Ushered in on winters wind

Falls' Majesty rest
In hearts, poised with certain hope
With brief hiatus
Floras sure resurrection
Phoenix, rising from ashes

this was really nice. evolution of the seasons..some things you can always count on..

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

There's little I can add to what has been said, but I want to join in the kudos.  You really do shine in these forms.

Wonderful tanka!
like the others said, the images were great.
