"The Decision"
By: Amy M. Kennedy

The clock is ticking, and time is of the essence
Day flows into night, night flows into day
The Decison
Which way should I go? Do I side with my heart?
The tool that has betrayed me in the past
I am a believer in second chances, in new beginnings, in starting over
The Decision
It weighs on my mind like a restless tide
I want to believe that your words are honest and sincere
But my mind tells me different, for it seems to know the truth
The Decision
I lay awake at night wondering what should I do?
I am a optomistic spirit, believer in the glass is half full
The deceit and the pain can not be denied though
The Decision
Your words of the past play on a video that is only seen in my mind
Truth vs Lie
Fact vs Imagination
Real vs Fake
Reality vs Fantasy
And still the clock ticks, time being of the essence
The Decision

this is great am,
you ask the good questions...but you know by now...I'm the wrong one to ask...I always go with my heart...and fall on my face in the process...haha  but it always makes for great inspiration...right???
welcome to the pub my friend pull up a stool...the company in here is great...be on the look out for a cute, poetic, purple dragon...LOL...we feed Spyro pretzels and peanuts and he writes us amazing poems.
later, jan

 She says baby,
It's 3am I must be lonely,
When she says baby,
Well I can't help but be scared of it all sometimes,
Says the rains gonna wash away I believe it.

I love you baby... always.*

Another great example given us from Amy, poetry is ageless, timeless and will be around long after we're gone.  Good write Amy.  ..how long take Chris to fi..t. ..?
