Youth used to bring magic,
Everything seemed touched with fairy dust,
That magic began to fade as time ticked,
But I held on to as much as I must,

And in turn that was gone,
I looked and child memories faded too,
Hung in darkness for long,
I saw a sky without the stars and moon,

Fireworks were meaningless,
The world just didn't have,
The magic that it possecessed,
When every thing was new to be had,

After that the magic flowed,
The sky generated stars again,
But not before I relised,
That the magic was aways there,

And not before I relised,
The magic was aways in you.

Sometimes you have to let go and move on,
But never let go of the memories.

Hi Myra,
A very sincere write. Remember the importance of what you've said, I have it back and found it was always there. Wow! Thats wonderful. Some go through lifetimes never knowing this. Come join us at Spiritual's sometimes, I can almost guarantee on certain days, when it breaks out(love) and if your own line, the treat will be yours as our Lord really reaches out and bless us all. This past Sat I went to a Halloween party. Oh the magic of dressing up in costume and pretending to be someone you're not for a few hrs. It was fun to see all my friends in their different roles...
