Sorry it took so long for me to post. ------------------------------- I sit here by the riverbank, on a cold, starry night. Looking at the stars. I withdraw my breath, a man stares at me. His azure eyes twinkling, an extent I cannot see. His hand, outstretched, lifts me to the moon. His other hand, on my waist, his kiss, is something to taste. Sweet, all too soon. We dance in the moonlight, the stars shimmering, his eyes are the starlight, his body is glimmering. I close my eyes, and lay against his chest and abdomen I know what I'm doing, isn't bad enough to be sin. His lips find mine, and seem to implore, some things, that I've, never revealed before. We dance in some sort, of sweet ecstasy. We lose ourselves often, in this dance. A train passes by, and we board. It is Heaven, that we're headed toward. We reach Heaven's Gate, St. Peter is there. "I have to leave you now, I have to go." He turns his back, and for the first time I notice-- --a pair of wings and a halo. --------------------------- Well, I usually don't do romantic poetry, but what do you think? --Little Girl |

Wow...for a first try at something you hit the bullseye!! This poem you've got here is almost as beautiful as you are (and that's saying a LOT, believe me...) Love, your little Spyro T. Thanks for your replies. Typically I don't write romantic poetry, but this just happened to slip into my mind so here it is!! --Lil' Girl -PS. A bit of Sailormoon influence. Darien/Mamoru is a HOTTIE!! |
