So, Hank and Maury were beaten,
By an underhanded trick,
But it wouldn't get them down,
For Hank and Maury were slick.
So...one night they waited for darkness,
And for the lights to come on in the Pub,
They watched with anticipation,
As the frogs went into the club.
Then quickly they crawled over,
To Sam and Bob's little pad,
It was covered with slimy water,
And was smelling pretty bad.
They took a deep breath and held it,
And set right to their work,
Cleaning out the snails and bugs,
Sprucing up the place, they smirked.
They replaced the seaweed with satin,
And had candles perfuming the air,
They knew they'd get them this time,
This scaly lizard pair.
Quickly they crept over to Flo's,
Her pad they decided to trash,
Leaving Sam and Bob's seaweed,
And a few of the snails to mash.
Back to their spot outside the Pub,
They watched the three frogs leave,
Seems they had tipped too many,
And poor Flo had started to heave.
Sam and Bob took her home,
Then went back to their ugly pad,
And passed out without ever seeing,
That by lizards, they had been had.
Till morning when Flo woke screaming,
Oh my, what had Sam and Bob done,
Why was she in their place,
All covered with slime and with scum?
Sam and Bob hopped quickly,
To see what was wrong with Flo,
But Flo just started yelling,
As clam shells she started to throw.
All of this noise woke Maury and Hank,
As they watched the three frogs fight,
Feeling bad 'bout what they'd done,
They tried to make it all right.
But Flo just wouldn't listen,
Those lizards she wouldn't believe,
If only she had remembered
The tricks those frogs had up their sleeve!

Bonnie,
The war continues and them lizards aren't about to roll over and play dead for these three frogs. Nice comeback from our lizard friends!

Bonnie, dear, you are amazuing! And so darn quick to get them frogs back too! I must say this is very cleverly done as well. You know those frogs are probably a plotting and have something up their sleeve to get them lizards back! Love, Ellie

the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

It looks like the Lizards have found a friend
A Champion of Lizard Rights,
Who is swift to avenger the Wrong doers
And enjoy a good laugh at the sight.
Hail to Bonnie, the Lizard's best friend
To whom Hank and Maury owe their life,
And so it goes in the Bayou world
What amazing goings on & swamp life!

Bravo Bonnie, your poetic retorts are
very good.   David
