I have always loved this piece.... the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |

This is very well written. I can see the shop, and feel the triumph in finding the treasure. Kinda makes me want to visit the local used book store. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |

Yes, used book stores are a world in themselves...all kinds of tresures waiting to be found. Although, I going to admit that this was a personal allegory written for a very dear person. The silver dime reference links it back to my first silver dime poem, which gives it one of it layers of meaning. /pip/Forum27/HTML/001670.html -Lady [This message has been edited by Lady Noggins (edited 10-21-2000).] |

I can see myself doing this! Now I feel like browsing through anywhere with books. Perhaps a library? lol! Joy |
