Cascades of perfume...
Would bewitch my mind...
A tender touch my heart...
All I have are pictures though...
Which at least must be a start.

A prelude to a rendezvous...
A bottle message I can find...
Floating through the ether void...
To wash up in my mind.

Upon the shore I stand...
Content to play this part...
Praying now for refuge...
From the shipwreck of my heart.

This is soooo pretty, Solstice Son

Your poem reminds me of one I wrote last or two years ago about being shipwrecked. Maybe I'll dig it out of the archives.

Beutiful, sooo romantic!

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

*blinks*  Cool, hon.  This is really cool.     I like it a lot...

With a little piece of tomorrow,
You'll have to kiss yesterday goodbye.
Because today won't last forever,
And the past will only make you cry.
